Key Accounts Manager – Sales

Experience & Qualifications / Skills and Competencies:

  • An MBA Graduate with a background in Engineering or Electronics/ Telecommunications.
  • Should have around 3-5 yrs of experience in Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. The candidate will be performing a dual role.
  2. One of media acquisitions as in TV radio and print. And the other of operator reactions.
  3. The person would be responsible for tying up with media companies for using our short code and providing other services in the mobile domain.
  4. Manage existing clients and build a new base.
  5. Servicing of the existing clients would include managing the existing services and also addition of new services.
  6. The second role would be that of managing operator relationships.
  7. This would be for the day to day service requirements of the operators.
  8. The candidate would have to proactively plan with the operator on content as well as service offerings.
  9. Reporting into the senior manager the candidate will be interacting with 7 of the 11 telecom operators.
  10. Liasoning with the technical and financial deptts both internally within ACL and the respective operators on billing collection and service offerings.

  • The incumbent should be well versed in mobile technologies / ecosystem with 4 years plus experience, out of which 2 years should be in similar role. Engineering or MBA will add to the qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. The incumbent would lead World Phone's product initiative in SMS, WAP/GPRS space and emerging new technologies.
  2. He would also provide pre-sales support to operator sales team.
  3. The incumbent should understand the mobile markets in India and create specific products.
  4. The job profile also includes revenue responsibilities
